TWO NEW BOARDS ADDED TO AITECH’S VME SBC
PRODUCT FAMILY OFFER LOW POWER; INCREASE VERSATILITY
Chatsworth, CA, September 2005 – Aitech Defense Systems, Inc., a
world leader in
the development and manufacture of board and subsystem level products
environment defense, aerospace and space applications, has added two
new boards to
its rugged, VME64x-compliant C10x single board computer (SBC) family.
1.0 GHz, high performance C101L employs the low power version of the
PowerPC processor, and the 1.0 GHz C106L, which use less than 22W, features
7447A PowerPC processor.
The new SBCs are designed to satisfy the demands for expanded I/O capabilities
powerful processing in harsh-environment applications, such as mission
remotely piloted vehicles, fire control processing, platform stabilization,

single-ended and differential discrete I/O channels. The new boards are
expansion with two on-board PMC sites and 64-bit, 66 MHz PCI bus on P0,
and offer up
to 1 GB of on-board SDRAM operating at 133 MHz.
The C106 SBC product family supports several real-time operating systems
including WindRiver VxWorks, Green Hills INTEGRITY and INTEGRITY-178,
TimeSys Embedded Linux. Other RTOS board support packages (BSPs) are
upon request. An extensive firmware package is supplied with each board

commercial, rugged, or military. The boards are also available in both
conduction-cooled formats, each as a single-slot 6U module.
