Primary Responsibilities:

  • Assist Sr Buyer with Quotes, PO entry and expedite specified commodities from outside suppliers. Keep contact with supplier to ensure on time delivery. Identify and cost reduction opportunities to improve customer satisfaction and meet company objectives.
  • Assist proactively the Sr Buyer identifying and supporting production work order requirements to minimize production delay due to materials shortage and reduce costs. Plan purchases by reviewing materials and supply requirements from MRP reports, plan package, contracts, and change orders.
  • Obtains quotes by forwarding materials and supplies requirements to supplier; evaluating alternative materials and supplies. Places orders by negotiating price, terms, and delivery of materials and supplies. Assures detailed bid and proposal packages are maintained.
  • Resolves delivery discrepancies by comparing purchase order to delivery documentation; obtaining credits and refunds. Improves quality results by analyzing materials, supplies, and vendor reliability, Quality and service; recommending changes. Reduces costs by evaluating alternative materials and supplies; negotiating pricing and terms. Provides management planning and control information by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
  • Able to work in a development and New products environment. Ability to match requirements to supplier capabilities. Formal reporting to management and or customer team status, variances, and or problem resolution.
Recommended Experience:
  • Experience in major sub-contracts administration and outsourcing efforts preferred.
  • Experienced with ERP/MRP Systems.

  • Customer support as they integrate our products into their systems.
  • Lead special Research & Development project activities or investigations within the Electronic Engineering discipline.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10+ years of Analog Design experience with mil-spec or space programs
  • Solid analog design and debugging skills
  • Experience with development tools for design capture, simulation, and debug.  In particular experience with OrCAD Schematic Capture, PSpice (Hyper lynx is a Plus)
  • Design experience with the following Analog Interfaces: RTDs, LVDTs, Unipolar and Differential ADCs, DACs, current sensing, different types of motor controls and servos is required. Synchro-Resolver interfaces experience is plus.
  • Design experience with DC to DC power supply (10-250W), 1kW+ is a plus.
  • Knowledge and experience with EMI/EMC principals and ESD and lightning protection, a plus
  • Familiar with Worst Case circuit analysis, high reliability components, failure rate calculation principles, radiation effects (SEE and TID) on semiconductors is required.

Job Title:

Primary Responsibilities:
The Program Manager (PM) will provide management and leadership direction for the design, development, and manufacturing of Avionics hardware including Command and Data Handling (C&DH) Units and mission Computers.  These programs may be Customer defined or Internal Research and Development (IR&D) projects.  The PM shall perform the following duties: 1) Manage all activities associated with the Development, Manufacturing, and Qualification Testing for DOD & Aerospace Contracts, 2) support proposal preparation in conjunction with business development personnel, and 3) Determine program requirements, budget and program control mechanisms utilizing Earned Value Techniques to effectively track and measure results, schedules, expenditures, labor and other aspects of the program.
 
The PM acts as a primary interface between the customer, corporate team members, and partners providing regular status on achieving assigned program goals and objectives. The individual must be able to plan, organize, and manage multiple programs / projects of varying size and complexity and support the preparation of proposals in response to both commercial and government RFPs including cost, schedule, and technical inputs.  
 
Additional duties may include contract negotiations through contract award, presenting briefings to company and customer management, review and recommending process improvements for existing systems/products at Aitech, and preparation of business cases for new business.

Required Knowledge, Education, and Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience as a program, or project manager.
  • Excellent understanding of Microsoft Office products including Microsoft Project.
  • A BS degree in a related field (Engineering discipline preferred)

Recommended Experience:

  • Strong knowledge of Military, Aerospace, and Space programs and requirements.
  • Strong Team building and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to foster cross-functional teamwork among Engineering, Operations and Quality.
  • Ability to review customer Purchase Orders and Contract requirements with a focus on the implications for Aitech

  • Experience with Avionics and Control systems including integration of I/O products and embedded systems development will also be considered a plus.

  • Assist and coordinate with regional business development managers to log quotations for the sale of new and existing products to potential and existing customer client base 
  • Work with marketing communications company to make periodic updates of the company web site with direction of the VP, Sales and Marketing
  • Update and maintain US/NA bookings report
  • Generate the weekly Sales and Marketing report from inputs from BD Managers
  • Facilitate the review and signature process for Non-Disclosure Agreements
  • Maintain customer correspondence file with relevant data, forms, and documentation as needed
