Senior Program Manager

Qualifications

· Provide management and leadership direction for DoD & Aerospace development and manufacturing programs. Desired candidate will perform the following duties:

· Manage activities associated with the development, qualification and manufacturing of sub-systems and components supporting the DoD & Aerospace systems development contracts.

· Lead efforts to define, develop and deliver Contractor Data Requirements List (CDRL) items to the customer. The Manager determines program requirements, develops budget and program control mechanisms and utilizes Earned Value Techniques to effectively track and measure results, schedules, expenditures, labor and other aspects of the program. Generation and maintenance of MS Project Schedules is required. The Program Manager will manage multiple programs/projects of varying size and complexity.

· Act as a primary interface between the customer, corporate team members and partners providing regular status on achieving assigned program goals and objectives. Plan, organize and manage the preparation of proposals in response to both commercial and government RFP's to include cost, schedule, technical approach and presentation to the customer. Assist in contract negotiations through contract award. Present briefings to company and customer management and other customer representatives on significant program issues. Review and recommend cost estimates for new business.

· Proven ability to plan, organize and develop schedules and milestones for project program goals, as well as monitor progress in sufficient time for corrective action to be taken.

· Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in addition to the ability to effectively present complex technological research and information to organizational and group management, government officials, customers, and scientific or public groups.

· Demonstrated ability to influence and obtain results a must.

· Must be U.S. Citizen

· Bachelor of Science in a related technical field (Engineering discipline preferred), plus a minimum of ten years experience in comparable position.
