Test Technician

Aitech is seeking a Test technician to join its Production Department. Reporting to the VP Operations, the ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in troubleshooting and repair of production electronic assemblies for the military industry and a working knowledge of VME SBC’s. Must be experienced and comfortable working in a production/laboratory environment. This role requires a detail-oriented, self-motivated and proactive approach in taking the initiative to develop current and seek better methods and techniques.  Strong team player and interpersonal skills are required.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Perform routine tests for product acceptance.
• Debug and oversee the repair of production assemblies.
• Support and perform design verification and qualification testing.
• Debug and oversee the repair of customer returns.
• Support engineering projects and assist in investigations.
• Change directions quickly as priorities will change often.
• Act as resident specialist in the testing and debug of existing products.
• Correct and enhance in-house test procedures.
• Seek and suggest timesaving methods to improve productivity and quality.
• Support other technicians on team actions.

Recommended Education:
BS in Electronic Engineering Preferred, or AA in Electronic Engineering and equivalent experience.
